Property Investment and Your Exit Strategy: Realising Your Profit

Investing in property is one of the most solid and the most rewarding investments that an investor can undertake to enjoy future financial security. But if you are new to property investment, you may wonder how you get to see and benefit from the profit you make. Realising your profit is known as your exit strategy. There are two main methods

1. Buy And Hold The Property To Generate Large Passive Income = Retire On The Rental Income

With large rental yields of up to 25%, which you might expect from buying an undervalued property in a hot spot, it should be possible for you to earn back the entire purchase price in less than 42 months! This means that you would be looking at pure profit on a monthly basis.

Assuming a rental income of approximately £510 a month, you would be earning a gross rental of £6,120 per year.

Now let's say you have 4 properties, this gives you just under £25,000 a year! That's more than most people earn in their jobs and a large enough income for most people to retire on for just under £98,000 all in.

2. Property Flipping - Property Resale

Finally, there is the conventional way of putting the property out for resale, in which case Belgrave Group is again on hand to help. In the case of properties in the US (most notably Atlanta), our American partners who are specialists in this area would undertake to do this for you.

In recent years, investing in property has meant substantial profits for a lot of people. In fact property investing, especially BMV (below market value or discounted) property investment, has generated more millionaires than probably any other type of business activity, and in relatively small time periods.

In these days of high volatility in the stock market and poor pension fund performance, savvy investors have even more reason to look at high yielding property investment as an attractive alternative.
